Boys Pre-Comp

This program is designed for boys 5 to 7 years old.

Boys are selected for this program by our coaches, and have usually moved up through our pre-school Advanced Juniorgym or our Boys Recreational programs.

These boys train for 4 - 6 hours per week. It's more of a fun program that develops the strength and flexibility necessary to move on to the Interclub competitive program. Here, the boys get a feel for competitive gymnastics without the pressure of competing.

Our Pre-comp boys compete as demonstration athletes.

They will advance into the Interclub program when the coach feels they are ready.

Interclub

This program is for boys 8 years old and up.

Boys must be chosen for this program, and usually they have moved up through the Pre-comp or Boys Recreational programs.

These athletes train for 4 - 9 hours per week. Conditioning is an important part of our program and helps the athlete to gain the strength necessary to develop skills for competition.

Interclub boys compete at one or two Invitational Competitions.

The progression for Interclub boys is to join the Provincial program when they have established the necessary skills.

Provincial

This program is for boys 8 years and up, who are serious about competition.

Boys are selected for this program and must undergo mandatory assessment of their skills. Most of these athletes have progressed through the Interclub program or the Advanced Boys Recreational program.

Our Provincial boys train for 10 - 16 hours per week. Conditioning is an essential part of our program as we help the athlete develop the strength and skills necessary to compete at the Provincial level.

These boys compete in Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Provincial Qualifiers as well as Invitational Competitions.
